For high production, never tap air. Adjust the limit switches so tap clears material with the minimal clearance needed in the retracted position.

Try to keep coolant from washing or spraying directly on lead screw. This will extend the life of the lead screw.

Always keep cover on unit when in operation. This will protect the micro switches from shorting out, and keep chips from entering inside the tap unit.
